One of my favorite elements of being a Seattle Wedding DJ is the relationships I form with other wedding professionals. It’s so satisfying when you get to work as part of a team that coordinates and works behind the scenes to kick some serious butt for our couples on their wedding day.

One of the best is Reid Johnson, Seattle Wedding Videographer and the founder of Best Made Videos. In addition to working with him at several weddings, I was actually the DJ at HIS wedding at Salty’s in West Seattle in 2016.

So it was a lot of fun to pop over and chat with him to help launch his podcast series “Get to Know Your Wedding Pro,” where he interviews wedding professionals about their life stories and how they came to work in the wedding business.

He is a terrific interviewer – quite present and an active listener. The one question that stumped me for a little while was what song, if any, do I NOT like to play at weddings.

You can find the answer to that question and more by giving a listen below.
